More than 150 exhibitors are coming to town this weekend, and the best part is, this expo isn’t just for humans.

The fourth annual St. Louis Pet Expo is at the St. Charles Convention Center from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20.

The free indoor event showcases national and local veterinarians, groomers, trainers, business owners and organizations.

For those who do want to bring their pet along, event organizers ask that he or she is non-aggressive, doesn’t get stressed out in crowds, current on all shots (you can even get his or her shots and microchipped for a fee at the event) and on a fixed lead no longer than 6-feet long.

Pet water stations and pet potty areas will be located indoors at the expo. If you do not have a pet to bring, don’t fret—plenty of adoption agencies will be there with more than 200 pets waiting for a good home.

If you’ve come just for the entertainment of it all, agility, a pet costume contest, a pet talent contest, author readings, book signings and plenty of special guests, including Shorty Rossi, star of Pit Boss on Animal Planet, will ensure you have a fetching good time.
