18th Annual St Louis Microfest
What: This beer tasting festival is the biggest brewfest in St. Louis. Fest-goers can sample international and craft beers over the course of two days. Proceeds benefit Lift For Life Gym, a non-profit organization that provides fee athletic, social activities, nutrition and education programs for children.
When: 7 to 10 p.m., May 3 and 4

Bark in the Park Festival
What: Even dogs get their own festival in St. Louis! This event sponsored by the Humane Society of Missouri and Purina ONE, is the largest dog festival in the Midwest. The one-mile walk, 5K run, family festival and pancake breakfast all benefit the Humane Society Animal Cruelty Fund.
When: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., May 18

Taste of Maplewood Street Festival
What: If dogs aren’t your thing, head to Maplewood for their annual event between Manchester Blvd. and Flora Ave. Maplewood’s local businesses are on display at this festival, with restaurants, music and beer highlighting the day.
When: Noon to 9 p.m., May 18
Where: Sutton Blvd., Maplewood, Mo.
St. Louis Shakespeare Festival
What: This annual event is a festival that keeps on giving. This year’s performance is Twelfth Night, and performances run through June 16. What: This year’s LoopFest is a family-friendly festival situated at the intersection of Shenandoah and Thurman Avenues in St. Louis City. Music, arts, storytelling, puppet shows and of course, food highlight this one-day event.
